olympus om 101 camera fault mirror stuck

OLYMPUS FAULT mirror stuck I could not get the mirror back to the normal position so I searched on the net there are pointers to the fault on olmypus 35 mm slr s but not specific to the 101 model I put new batteries in still no luck gave it a few gentle taps, was almost ready to give up after 20 minutes a few more gentle taps and the camera burst into life so please don’t give up on this camera it just took a little time and a few very gentle taps,moving the mirror down with my fingers did not work but maybe helped to loosen whatever was causing the problem,BTW this camera is unjustly very underestimated and it akes standard Olympus lenses as well as the PF ones it takes good pics
